Our school follows the ALLIANCE methodology so that students are motivated and responsible for their own progress. We offer a wide range of classes for children, teens, and adults at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Group and private classes are also available. Danny Vega is a highly accomplished 2nd degree black belt who began his training in 2008. Throughout his journey, Danny has secured multiple IBJJF Open Championships and earned a medal at the Adult Pans as a Purple Belt. He has had the privilege of training with some of the sport’s most esteemed world champions, including Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles, Bruno Malfacine, Lucas Lepri, and Leonardo Nogueira. In addition to his competitive success, Danny is proficient in all major rule sets, including IBJJF, ADCC, and Submission Only, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of the sport.
Chris Josten began his martial arts journey at the young age of 6 and has a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, achieving numerous top 10 national rankings along the way. Chris began expanding his skill set by starting his Jiu-Jitsu training in 2010, demonstrating his commitment to mastering multiple disciplines. Along with the current training team Chris has had toe opportunity of Studying under Master Rorion Grace, Master Relson Gracie, Professor Ryron Gracie, Professor Rener Gracie as well as the likes of Brian “T City” Ortega and many more.
Jason Reynolds is a 2 Stripe brown belt who began his training in 2018. Throughout his journey, Jason has secured multiple IBJJF Open Championships and earned a medal at the IBJJF Master Pans as a Purple Belt. He has had the privilege of training with some of the sport’s most esteemed Jiu Jitsu practitioners, including Master Rillion Grace, Professor Roggan Gracie and Worlds Champions Professor Alexandre F Dantas “Cafe”, Professor Marcelo Herz. In addition to his competitive success, Jason is an active competitor in all major tournaments, including IBJJF, ADCC, NAGA, AGF and Submission Only, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of the sport.
Alan Trageser is a 5th Degree Kukkiwon Korea certified Master black belt and has completed the AAU and USAT coaching certification programs. Master Trageser won Alabama and Florida state championships as an athlete and has won many Florida, Georgia, Alabama State championships as a coach and won 2 national championships as a coach. He has been training in Taekwondo for over 35 years and over 30 years as a coach. He has trained with Grandmaster Jang Park 9th Degree Kukkiwon certified black belt under his tutelage Master Trageser received his Master title. Master Trageser also trained under Grand Master Hon Lee long time USA Olympic coach.

After dropping in at Alliance Jiu Jitsu of PCB two years ago when it was under Rilion Gracie, I became Facebook friends with the new head coach Danny! So, when my family decided to travel to PCB again for vacation, I knew I had to drop in! Everyone was extremely welcoming and the drills at the beginning of class were taught in such a way that made it easy to comprehend! After drilling, I was able to get rolls in with most of the other class members and they all displayed great technical depth! I also got to roll with Danny which was very humbling, but also so much fun. I highly recommend training at Alliance Jiu Jitsu of PCB whether you’re a local or just on vacation and want to train! You won’t regret it!
Me and my kids have been training BJJ, TKD, and Muay Thai last couple years. The instructors and my teammates are awesome. Be patient, trust the process and be consistent in any of the arts and you won’t be sorry. 🤙

Absolute top notch instruction with a welcoming family vibe. We do both kids and adult classes because we love the gym so much. My son would watch the adult classes and the folks in the class would interact/play with him. This sparked his interest in trying Jiu Jitsu and he’s loved it ever since. The mat space and facility is unrivaled in the Panama City/ Bay county area. Highly recommend coming to check them out!
Known the owner Jason since I was a kid. Always has the best interest of everyone around him in mind, even when it causes him extra work. Unlike many other gyms, everyone here is super kind and welcoming. No one has an inflated ego and always willing to help. Whether you are a a kid, young adult, male or female, I cannot recommend this place enough. Jason is the best and having instructors like Danny, Chris, John and Kevin make it a great experience. I encourage anyone interested to come give it a try!
Coach Danny does a great job keeping up with the modern Jiu Jitsu meta and teaches the most effective techniques. He is also a great teacher and gives all of his students 1 on 1 attention to make sure they are progressing. I highly recommend learning from him if you have the opportunity!
